Equipping the Church to engage in society

Our 'Awake, Arise' day conferences seek to encourage Christians to engage with society robustly and relevantly at both the national and local level - and to provide the tools to do so. We’re looking to hold such events across the country, in partnership with local churches.

Not Ashamed is a campaign encouraging Christians to live out their faith in public. Jesus is Lord, not just at home or at church, but at school and in the workplace. Unfortunately it is becoming increasingly difficult to be a Christian in some environments in the UK. There have been more and more cases where Christians have suffered penalties for their faith in the public sphere. Some have lost their jobs because they could not act against their religious conscience at work.

Abortion is back in the news and back on the agenda for public debate. Now is time to act.

On the 44th anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act, we held a special conference in Westminster, bringing together people from the UK and abroad who have a passion for life – and a desire to see things change. Our objective was to learn from the many and diverse voices for life and to identify new ways to work creatively and courageously together to make a dramatic difference in the debate.

As abortion continues to be legal in the UK, we urge you not to give in to despair but to continue to work to make abortion history. Join us and be energised to campaign for life, all in the context of recognising God’s precious gift.
