Addressing the Attack on the Family

Responding to the sexualisation of our children in Schools and Society
Saturday 2nd July 2011
10am to 4pm
Emmanuel Centre
9-23 Marsham Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3DW
In education, in the media, in politics – the family, as designed by God, faces constant challenge – threatening the wellbeing of our children and the future of our society.
There is an urgent need for Christians and churches to respond effectively. But how? Join us for a special day conference for church members and leaders as we examine the key issues and identify practical steps that we can take together.
Although we address these issues as Christians, we warmly welcome those of other faiths and those without faith in God, who share a concern about current cultural trends and wish to respond positively.
Speakers include:
Ann Benton, Speaker and Author (Marriage and Parenting issues)
John Benton, Senior Pastor, Chertsey Street Baptist Church & Editor, Evangelicals Now Newspaper
Alan Craig, Leader, Christian People’s Alliance and Campaigner on Family Issues
Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali, former Bishop of Rochester and President, OxTrad
Dr Lisa Nolland, Author and Researcher (Family, Sexuality and Youth Culture), Anglican Mainstream
Tim Vince, CEO, Centre for Contemporary Ministry
Andrea Minichiello Williams, Director, Christian Concern & Christian Legal Centre
There is no charge for the conference but please register if you wish to attend - to do so, use the form below. There will be an opportunity on the day to make a contribution toward the cost of the event.
