The Future of the Family in Coalition Britain

World Congress of Families

Constructing a Compelling Case for the Conventional Family

World Congress of Families - London 2011 Regional Conference

One year into the life of the Coalition, we bring together policy-makers, opinion-formers and thought-leaders from different areas of public life to consider how the traditional family is faring and consider what the future may hold.

Our speakers will bring their experience and expertise to bear on the question of how a compelling case can be made, in the current cultural context, for the traditional family. They will seek to evaluate existing strategies, suggest possible new directions and help us to develop an integrated approach to promoting the value of the family for society as a whole.

Speakers include:

Rt Revd Dr Michael Nazir-Ali (Former Bishop of Rochester)
Mr Stewart Jackson MP (Member of Parliament for Peterborough)
Peter Hitchens (Author and Newspaper Columnist)
Mr Graeme Leach (Chief Economist, Institute of Directors)
Benjamin Bull Esq (Chief Counsel, Alliance Defense Fund)
Ignacio Arsuaga (Hazteoir.org, Madrid and World Congress of Families)
