Nikki Kenward to continue fight for life after losing Court of Appeal bid

Nikki and Merv Kenward will continue to fight for life after losing a Court of Appeal bid, to review a liberalisation in policy regarding the prosecution of medical staff who assist others in committing suicide.

Responding to the decision Nikki said: "The fight goes on... so that we don't go into a future that puts all of us at risk."

Commenting on the change in policy, the Christian Legal Centre's Roger Kiska says that the decision could have "catastrophic effects because it is an incremental leap forward in legalising assisted suicide."
