World’s leading abortion provider encourages youth sex
The world’s leading abortion provider, based in London, has issued a graphic booklet promoting casual sexual relationships among young people.
The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), a global non-governmental organisation with the broad aims of promoting sexual relationships and abortion, says its new booklet called Healthy, Happy and Hot proved to be their most popular publication.
In the booklet, the organisation states that the guide “is here to support your sexual pleasure and health” and includes sexually explicit language promoting casual sex among youth with multiple partners, as well as oral, anal, and homosexual sex.
The publication encourages young people to continue having casual sexual relationships and keep their sexual activity secret from their parents, as well as visits to family planning clinics: “You should find out whether there are any centers near to you where you can go without needing the permission of your parents or guardians.”
“Some people like to have aggressive sex,” says the booklet. “There is no right or wrong way to have sex.” It encourages young people who might have sex after drinking or using drugs to “plan ahead by bringing condoms.” Another section suggests readers visit family planning clinics for help in preventing or aborting unplanned pregnancies.
The booklet, which has been translated into French, Russian and Spanish languages, condemns countries with laws requiring disclosure of HIV status to sexual partners. It says such laws violate the rights of people living with HIV.
The organisation, which receives financial support from governments, trusts, and foundations including the European Commission and the United Nations Population Fund, has also distributed the booklet in August 2010 at the World Youth Conference in Leon, Mexico.
In January 2010 the IPPF said in its earlier report called Stand and Deliver that because “young people are sexual beings,” it should be patently obvious that “sexuality education promotes individual well-being and the advancement of broader societal and public health goals.”
It fervently argued that “comprehensive sexuality education” must be compulsory in school, and governments must also guarantee that this education is delivered to those young people who are out of school.
