Parents fund 'egg-freezing' for career women

A London fertility doctor has suggested that increasing numbers of parents are paying for their daughters to have their eggs frozen. Professor Dr Geeta Nargund (pictured) who is Medical Director of Create Fertility Clinics, described witnessing a 'real social change'.

"Five years ago it was almost unheard of for patients to have their parents funding their IVF treatment or grandparents funding fertility treatment but now we receive a lot of inquiries," she explained. (Read more - Telegraph).

Earlier this month it was revealed that leading technology companies Facebook and Apple will contribute to the cost of female employees freezing their eggs.(Read more)
