Children shown "extremist video" at Trojan Horse school

A "violent extremist" video was shown to pupils in a Birmingham state school involved in the Trojan Horse plot, MPs were told this week.

The findings emerged  Ian Kershaw, who headed a review of the alleged plot for Birmingham City Council, gave evidence to the Commons select committee on education.

Mr Kershaw told MPs that a "violent extremist" video had been shown at one school that was "completely unacceptable for young people to see." He added: "It should have been stopped and should not have happened."

Asked by MPs whether this was a type of "violent jihadist promotional video", Mr Kershaw indicated that it was.

In the wake of the inquiry, Sharia expert, Sam Solomon, co-founder of Christian Concern, said that evidence of the alleged 'plot' to apply Islamic laws in schools should ring a “warning bell” about the strategic aim that drives Islam – the imposition of sharia throughout British society.
