Christian schools to challenge Ofsted

Printer-friendly version

HM Chief Inspector of Schools, Sir Michael Wilshaw, has denied that Ofsted has a "political agenda" against Christian schools.

MPs on the Education Select Committee pressed him on the issue after reportedly being inundated by emails from concerned parents. 'Christian-ethos' schools such as Grindon Hall Christian School, Durham Free School and Trinity Christian School have complained of hostile inspections since 'British values' rules were introduced.
