Ofsted 'gay questions' guidance revealed

Printer-friendly version

Ofsted inspectors have been briefed on asking children questions about the word 'gay' far earlier than controversial, recent inspections, it has been revealed.

A document published in January 2012 provided guidance on asking primary school pupils about 'homophobic bullying', whilst a further briefing in September 2013 addressed raising wider questions about homosexuality and transgenderism. Ofsted has repeatedly denied asking 'inappropriate questions'.
