'Assisted suicide not a private matter'

Michael Wenham, who suffers from motor neurone disease, has written powerfully in the Huffington Post about why he is opposed to assisted suicide.

In the article, he gives a number of reasons why it cannot simply be labelled a 'private matter' that ought to be left to individual choice. He concludes, "the Assisted Dying Bill is an attempt to slip under the radar of fear of dying. However, its effect would simply be to increase its range and power."
