Fight continues to oppose Quebec euthanasia bill

Printer-friendly version

The Canadian Euthanasia Prevention Campaign is preparing a court case to “strike down as unconstitutional”, the Quebec Bill 52 which was passed on Tuesday (10th  June).

The EPC argues that the bill gives physicians the dangerous right to “intentionally and directly cause the death of persons by lethal injection”.

The campaigners have also launched a letter writing campaign urging the Federal Government to challenge Bill 52 in the court and have published information in Canadian newspapers outlining how objectors can compose their letters.

Please also sign the petition launched by the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition and addressed to Justice Minister, Peter MacKay, asking him to act by bring an injunction against euthanasia Bill 52 and by asking the court to strike down the bill as unconstitutional.
