Professor explains assisted suicide dangers

Printer-friendly version

Oxford University's Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology this week outlined key arguments against assisted suicide at a special event in Parliament. Professor Nigel Biggar spoke at a briefing hosted by Fiona Bruce MP.

He noted how proposals to allow assisted suicide are often framed in terms of "compassion," but explained how they are in fact dangerous and imprudent. Separately, the Christian Medical Fellowship has produced this short paper.
