Scottish campaigner for assisted suicide dies

Independent MSP, Margo MacDonald, who campaigned for the introduction of assisted suicide in Scotland has died from Parkinson’s Disease.
Ms MacDonald, who had been a member of the Scottish Parliament since 1999, re-launched her failed Assisted Suicide Bill last year and was due to bring it back to the Scottish parliament.
