London hotel conforms to 'sharia law'

Printer-friendly version

An upmarket London hotel has made sweeping changes to its food and drink menu to bring it into line with Sharia law, according to the Mail newspaper.

The £220-a-night Bermondsey Square Hotel, which was once voted the 'trendiest place to stay' in Britain, has recently been taken over by a Middle Eastern businessman who wishes to run it 'in accordance with Sharia law,' the newspaper reports.
