Martin Luther and the crisis of our age

Printer-friendly version

Saturday, 31 October marked the 498th anniversary of Martin Luther's posting of his 95 theses, an event which helped to galvanise the Protestant Reformation in Europe.

In a short video, Wilberforce Director Dr Joe Boot highlights Luther's emphasis on the vital role of Scripture in the life of the Church. Joe says that, in the midst of the current crisis in the Church and the wider culture, Luther's high regard for God's word is something that we urgently need to recover.
