Cameron opposes same-sex attraction help

Printer-friendly version

The freedom to access therapeutic help for unwanted same-sex attraction suffered a new challenge this week when David Cameron described such therapies as "profoundly wrong" and suggested that he might be prepared to ban them.

Nick Clegg has previously called them “dangerous nonsense” and Ed Miliband has said his party opposes them. However, properly executed therapy can be extremely valuable in helping those facing unwanted same-sex feelings.
