Rod Liddle speaks to Sarah Mbuyi following PM's "Christian country" comments

Printer-friendly version

In a film for the Sunday Times, columnist Rod Liddle has highlighted the case of Christian Legal Centre client, Sarah Mbuyi, who was sacked for saying that marriage is between one man and one woman.

In his column “Rod Liddle’s Got Issues” he questions “Just how Christian is Britain?”, following recent cases where Christian employees have been penalised for living out their faith in the workplace.

He says: "When David Cameron says it's a Christian country, it is not a Christian country if Christians can't abide by their beliefs, and on pain of so doing, are summarily sacked, which happens more and more often as we have seen in the case of Sarah".
