Pastor under fire for criticising gay advert

Printer-friendly version

Pastor Matt Kottman, a Church Minister in Leatherhead, was criticised on the front page of the Leatherhead Advertiser for his condemnation of an advert which promotes homosexuality as a normal and acceptable lifestyle choice. Mr Kottman said that he believed the poster would unnecessarily encourage children to think about homosexuality. The advert is part of Stonewall's recent campaign to talk about alleged homophobic bullying in schools. As a regular supporter of the Christian Union at Therfield School in Leatherhead, Pastor Kottman is keen to promote biblical teaching in schools.
