Lib Dem candidate - first transgender MP?

A Liberal Democrat candidate is making a bid to become the country's first transgender MP.

Zoe O'Connell was born a man but had an operation and now lives as a woman. Zoe lives with two other women in a 'polyamorous' relationship. The two other women used to be a heterosexual married couple, but the man has also undergone 'gender reassignment' and now lives as a woman. Zoe has three children, aged 11, 13 and 14 from a previous relationship.
