The Court of Appeal has upheld protection of Sundays as a day of worship and rest for Christians in the case of children's worker, Celestina Mba.
In a landmark ruling, it dismissed earlier findings that Sunday observance was ‘not a core component of the Christian faith’.
Last month, a Belgian Senate committee voted in favour of a controversial bill that would extend the country's euthanasia laws to children. The bill will now go to the Senate and, if passed there, to the House of Representatives for approval.
