Nikki Kenward explains why Noel Conway's legal bid for assisted suicide must be rejected

Christian Legal Centre client Nikki Kenward speaks to BBC News about why Noel Conway's legal bid for assisted suicide must be rejected.

Nikki, who contracted Guillain-Barre Syndrome at age 37 and was left paralysed for 5 months, explains that in countries where euthanasia has been legalised, the list of people who are eligible for euthanasia continues to increase.

"Hard cases like Noel's make very bad law," she says, adding that safeguards would not guarantee that vulnerable people would protected. "The end of the slippery slope is that we can't be trusted with power like this."
