Nikki Kenward: 'My family would have made the wrong decision if assisted suicide was legal'

Nikki Kenward discusses assisted suicide on BBC Shropshire. She says:

"This is a situation and a lifestyle that you can’t make decisions about until you know what it’s like and what it entails."

When talking about her time in hospital, where Nikki suffered from locked-in syndrome, she says:

"If my family were asked, ‘Do you think she’d want to live?’ Their feeling is that they’d have said, ‘No she wouldn’t want to live’ and they would have been completely and utterly wrong."
