'Abortion is nothing to shout about'

A campaign to show support for abortion has seen the hashtag #ShoutYourAbortion trend on Twitter this week.
Writing on the Conservative Woman website, Caroline Farrow responds: "If abortion was your personal choice, and nothing more than a medical procedure, then why do you need to shout at the world for validation?" She also speaks of her own experience of abortion, saying: "I felt empty and desolate... followed by years of of regret."
