All life is precious: 'Saying yes to Sara'

A young mother has spoken about her decision not to abort her little girl despite being pressured by doctors because of the child's health complications. Catherine MacMillan's speech, published in Standpoint magazine, tells the story of Sara, who lived a happy and fulfilled life for almost six years until she passed away peacefully.

This is a powerful testimony of the value of every life. "Worth it to have those almost six years of joy, love, heartache and extreme pride", she writes.
