Tiny human lives used to create 'super-mice'

Printer-friendly version

Scientists have taken cells from tiny human beings and injected them into mice to create 'hybrid' brains in the animals. The memories of those mice that received the injections were said to function four times 'better' than sibling mice that had not received human cells.

The brain cells were taken from human embryos that were 'left over' following IVF treatment.
