Charity considers 'LGBT school'

Printer-friendly version

A Manchester-based charity is in the 'very early' stages of consultation about the possibility of school provision for 'LGBT children'.

LGBT Youth North West has received a £63,000 Government grant to look at how the Joyce Layland LGBT Centre can be used for 'the whole of the LGBT community'. According to reports, the possibility of an LGBT school will be 'explored' if young people expressed an interest in attending one.
