Young Ex-Rugby Player Chooses Death At Dignitas

Printer-friendly version A young man who used to play rugby for his local club, recently chose to travel to Dignitas - the assisted suicide clinic in Holland - to die after a rugby accident which left him immobile and in great pain.

A young man who used to play rugby for his local club, recently chose to travel to Dignitas - the assisted suicide clinic in Holland - to die after a rugby accident which left him immobile and in great pain. The story has been widely reported in mainstream media during mid October 2008.

The story has once again brought the call from Euthanasia supporters to change the UK law to permit some form of assisted suicide in this country in the UK.

CCFON is opposed to any change in the law that would permit Assisted Suicide in the UK. The current law  is there to protect the most vulnerable in society.

See Dr Peter Saunders, from the Care Not Killing Alliance, on TV, Radio  commenting on this story from a pro life perspective.
