BBC Three airs 'transgender' documentary

BBC Three this week broadcast a programme featuring "the poster boy and poster girl of the young trans community." Young, Trans and Looking for Love follows teenagers who have undergone hormone treatment and / or 'gender reassignment' surgery.
"Arin began life as Emerald, a beauty pageant-winning little girl. The name on Katie's birth certificate was Luke, a boy obsessed with computer games", reads the description of the programme, aimed at young people.
