'Faith will prevail over atheism'

Oxford Professor Alister McGrath has predicted that atheism will decline and be overtaken by faith. Speaking at Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary, he suggested that 'the new atheism' provides "unsatisfactory answers to ultimate questions".
The Christian faith helps us to make sense of what we experience, providing "focus and clarity to what people can observe of the world" and ultimately offering identity and purpose that atheism cannot, he explained.
